Before there was "The Office", there was "The Newsroom": a savagely funny satire set in a CBC news office. Bran-muffin-eating, parking-space-coveting, intern-harassing producer George Findlay is back for a third season of ethical bankrupcy, along with stone-stupid anchorman Jim Walcott (Peter Keleghan) and segment producer Karen Mitchell (Karen Hines).
Considered by many to be The Best Show On Television, "The Newsroom" is anchored by the performance of writer-director Ken Finkleman as George. Joining the cast this season are Shaughnessy Bishop-Stall, Sarah Strange, and Kristin Booth. --SD |
